    Jackie trained as a newspaper journalist and enjoyed a 10 year career in communications and publishing. She moved on to Director and CEO roles in national & international not-for-profit organisations. She now serves in NED and leadership mentoring roles, as well as running her own well-being practice, having retrained as a psychotherapist. Jackie has been a regular user of NPT facilities during her 30 years in Peterborough and is passionate about the natural world.

    Chief Executive
    During his time here, Matthew has ‘re-master planned’ the Park’s extensive landholding and implemented a ten-year strategy ‘Doing More with More’. Matthew is passionate about the environment and the benefits it provides. Previously, he held senior roles at the Land Trust and Norfolk Wildlife Trust. He takes an active role with The Parks Alliance, is a Board Member of Cambridgeshire Local Nature Partnership, a Member of the Broads Authority & Trustee of Living Sport.

    Allan Simpson

    Trustee
    Trained as a chartered spatial planner, Allan has extensive experience in strategic planning policy, infrastructure planning and sustainability across public and private sectors. Allan is a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and has an MBA from Warwick Business School.

  • Phil Rolfe

    Phil Rolfe

    Director of Business Services
    Phil is the Trust’s Company Secretary and director of the trading subsidiary company Nene Park Services Ltd. He has a degree in Economics, is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Diploma in Charity Accounting. He has held a number of senior finance and corporate services positions in the not for profit sector and is currently Treasurer of Peterborough Cathedral. Phil has lived in Peterborough for over 30 years and is a regular visitor to the Park.

  • Beki Sellick

    Beki Sellick

    Trustee
    Beki is a Chartered Engineer, who has worked with, managed and led people and businesses within the public and private sectors, locally and internationally. She continues to apply her MEng degree to policies and practicalities in railways and sustainable transport in the UK. Beki enjoys life in Peterborough with her family and is a committed cyclist and local campaigner.

    Head of Operations
    Oliver is responsible for the day to day management of all Park operations. In addition he is Chair for the Northamptonshire Local Nature Partnership and Nene Valley Nature Improvement Area. He is also on the Boards of the Cambridgeshire Local Nature Partnership and River Nene Regional Park CIC and oversees Cambridgeshire’s Future Parks Accelerator Programme. A Marine Biologist, he has worked in the conservation & environmental education sectors for over 20 years

    Christine de Ferrars Green

    Trustee
    Christine is a lawyer who has worked with landowners and developers in the local region for many years.  Through her business she has developed a particular expertise in advising on the long-term provision of community open spaces and shared facilities.  Christine loves to be outdoors and is a great believer in the value of open spaces for physical and mental well-being, in managing the environment for those who come after us, and in accessibility for all.

  • Adrian Oates

    Adrian Oates

    Head of Fundraising and Marketing
    Adrian heads our fundraising and marketing, and is responsible for external communication and charitable income generation for the Trust. With over 20 years fundraising and financial management experience, Adrian has expertise in securing and managing national and international statutory funds, EU grants and UK/US Trusts and Foundations. He is a Trustee of the Nene Valley Railway and on the Research Committee of the Nene Valley Archaeological Trust

  • Colin Prosser

    Colin Prosser

    Trustee
    Colin is a scientist at Natural England with more than 30 years of experience working in nature conservation across the whole of England.  He has a BSc and a PhD in Geology, is a former President of the London-based Geologists’ Association and has served as a school governor in Peterborough.  He has lived in Peterborough since 1988 and has been a Board member of Nene Park Trust since 2010.
