Woodston Reach is accessible to pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles (use Orton Mere car park) at all times.

Woodston Reach is a wooded area of Nene Park to the east of Orton Mere. It offers great opportunities for walking if you are looking for something a little bit quieter to the popular Ferry Meadows.

As part of Nene Park's Moments with Trees, an award-winning project (April 2017-March 2019) funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund work work was carried out in Woodston Reach to encourage visitors to enjoy this less-explored area of Nene Park. An area here, surrounded by impressive ash and hawthorn trees, was cleared to create an enticing space to sit and admire the specimen trees. We have named it ‘Woodston Rest’. As well as hawthorn saplings, three apple trees were planted and a new bench was created an installed.
