Opening Hours 2018/19:

Ferry Meadows is accessible to pedestrians and cyclists at all times.
Opening and last entry times for vehicle access at Ferry Meadows are below.

Winter opening times:

October 2 to March 25: 06:30 - 18:30

Summer opening times:

March 26 to October 1: 06:30 - 22:00

Situated at the heart of Nene Park, its varied landscapes make it the favourite destination for thousands of visitors throughout the year. Whether you’re looking to walk, cycle, ride a train, sail a boat, enjoy a cup of tea in the café or go fishing. Ferry Meadows is the place to explore endless meadows, lakes and woodland – all less than three miles from Peterborough city centre.

We run a packed events programme and education programme throughout the year, offering the chance to learn new skills and to discover more about this incredible Park.

As well as offering a great day out for friends, families and schools Ferry Meadows is also the perfect place to organise an event, take part in a team day with colleagues or volunteer.

Lakeside

Lakeside provides a hub for activity and relaxation. As well as being home to Lakeside Kitchen & Bar and a Rutland Cycling cycle hire facility it is also where the Nene Outdoors watersports and activity centre can be found.

Nene Outdoors

Located on the edge of Gunwade Lake, Nene Outdoors watersports and activity centre is the ideal venue for water sports and adventure activities.

As well as having a range of pay-and-play craft for hire – pedalos, canoes, kayaks to name but a few we also run courses and can organise fun filled group activities and team days.

Facilities

Toilets

Public toilets are located adjacent to the main car park by the Visitor Centre and by the car park at the Lakeside centre. These are open daily during daylight hours throughout the year.

Accessible Toilets

Accessible toilets are located within both toilet blocks and in the cafe. Baby changing facilities are available within the accessible toilet in both public toilet blocks and in the customer toilets in the cafe.
