We're delighted to share that our popular monthly family groups are growing in May, and relocating to the dedicated Forest School site at Lynch Farm in Ferry Meadows. Moving our family groups to Lynch Farm will give even more local children the space to learn through exploring, play and hands-on experiences in the great outdoors, whilst most importantly, having lots of fun! First Festival Acts Announced

As planning continues for Peterborough Celebrates Festival - the region’s biggest FREE family festival - the first performance acts are now confirmed: Three female acrobats, a giant balloon spectacle, a dog show with a difference and a comedy giant slug will all be wowing festival-goers across the weekend of 18th-19th May. Section of Ferry Walk closed from Monday 26 February

From Monday 26 February, a section of Ferry Walk from Thorpe Road to Bluebell Bridge will be closed for four weeks while essential maintenance work is carried out by Peterborough City Council. Please click here to see the map showing this section of path and pedestrian diversion route. Read more

Visitor Centre & Shop closure dates

Footpath closure for reedbed creation works

The reedbed creation work in Gunwade Lake is starting on Monday 29th January and there will be a section of pedestrian path closed for a couple of weeks while the soil mound is moved into the lake. Read more
